   Create a key

   Create an API key in your dashboard. It spends the same credits as the site.

   Call the API

   Send a POST with your Bearer key and an Idempotency-Key, so a retry never pays twice.

   Poll the result

   Poll the task until its status is completed or failed, then read the image URL. Failed tasks are refunded automatically.

Use with Claude Code and other agents

Install the one-file skill and set NANOBANANA_API_KEY, and Claude Code can create images and videos, check your balance and look up tasks for you. Other agents can read the same reference from /llms-api.txt.
